What is a dental implant?

- A dental implant is a screw-like device that is inserted into the jawbone, functioning as a replacement for a missing tooth root.

When do we need dental implantation?

- For example, if we do not want to prepare (file down) healthy teeth to create a bridge-like structure to replace missing teeth.

If there are no preserved supporting teeth, it is impossible to fix the structure.

A patient who cannot tolerate or no longer wishes to use a removable denture finds implantation particularly comfortable,

as they permanently bid farewell to the denture and the discomfort it causes.

Orthopedic Dentistry

Orthopedic dentistry includes the restoration of the chewing and aesthetic functions of missing teeth.

Restoration involves using various types of orthopedic constructions made from high-quality materials, which are highly durable: removable and non-removable dentures, ceramic crowns, full or partial dentures. These are customized to the patient’s individual measurements.

Therapeutic Dentistry

Therapeutic dentistry involves the treatment of various types of tooth damage: endodontics/root canal treatment, treatment and restoration of cavities using high-quality composite materials.

Professional hygiene, removal of tartar and plaque using the latest-generation equipment. Teeth whitening without damaging enamel, performed with modern, high-quality preparations.

Surgical Dentistry

Surgical dentistry includes surgical procedures for pathological processes in the jaw and facial area: tooth extractions (including retained and partially retained teeth), treatment of injuries and inflammatory processes; lip and tongue frenulum plastic surgery; root tip resection; gum plastic surgery (shape modification); cystectomy; bone tissue regeneration, and more.

All types of surgical procedures in the jaw-facial area are performed at the Blazy Dental Clinic under local anesthesia, without general anesthesia or inpatient hospitalization.

Orthodontic Dentistry

Orthodontic dentistry involves the development of the jaw and facial system, understanding the etiology and pathogenesis of deformations, their prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Incorrect bite is not only a visual discomfort but can also lead to tooth loss.

Misaligned teeth naturally cause uneven chewing load distribution and increased stress, which may result in exposed roots and the onset of periodontitis.

With age, pathological tooth wear becomes noticeable.

Misaligned teeth in some cases lead to facial aesthetic issues/asymmetry, which is a significant problem.

It is also worth noting that incorrect bite can cause temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, leading to headaches and pain in the chewing muscles, as well as clicking during mouth opening and movement.

Early consultation with an orthodontist is advisable. Timely diagnosis and preventive treatment can help avoid complications in adulthood.

Jaw/teeth treatment is performed with modern specialized orthodontic appliances and tools: bracket systems, expanders, splint therapy, plate appliances, and more.
